There is a misconception among homeowners that embracing black means turning the living room into a dark space that is black, black and more black. While this look works in some select homes, a better way forward is to combine that black coffee table with a dark accent wall or even a couch in a matching hue to create a look of homogeneity. Add a rug with hints of black, a few black chairs and maybe a dark pendant or two to make a bold style statement.
The triangular coffee table with curved edges is currently topping the trends chart when it comes to chic living room décor. Combing minimalist aesthetics with beautifully rounded edges, there is something undeniably timeless and yet contemporary about this dashing coffee table. While a coffee table in black seems to be the preferred choice in almost every sophisticated living room across the world, opting for one in white does give the room a more vibrant and cheerful aura. And if all else fails then you can bring in the iconic Elliptical coffee table in its many glorious forms that was originally dreamt up by Charles Eames.
These Meurice 2-Tier Tables from Jonathan Adler are a blend of Palm Beach style and ’60s French panache. With a faux bamboo design that comes in a polished nickel or antique brass finish, this table is great on the side, or as a coffee table (especially when paired with a friend, as shown below).
